The Challenger R/T package was ordered along with the optional 426 Hemi Engine and 727 Automatic Transmission. Then the Track Pack was ordered with the 4:10 Dana 60 rear, front power disc brakes, and power steering. In addition it was ordered with 15" Ralley Wheels, a rimblow steering wheel, and a full set of tint glass. The car was ordered with a very rare and desirable color combination of High Impact EK2 Vitamin C paint with a white longitude stripe. This car has been showed at the Carlisle All Chrysler Nationals the past three years. All three years this car has placed and in 2005 the car placed 1st with a celebrity pick by Totally Auto Inc.'s Dave Ferro.

Drivetrain

This 426 Hemi is an unstamped block that is correctly date coded for this car. The Motor is freshly rebuilt by Ray Barton from top to bottom in 2006. Its got everything new internally and everything correctly dated and coded for the engine. This motor pulled 580 HP at 6300 RPM when on Ray Barton's Dyno. The original numbers matching transmission is freshly rebuilt by a local reliable transmission specialist. The Dana 60 rear was also completely rebuilt and gone through. Everything for this car is correct part number wise for the car from the radiator to the carbs. This car comes with two ignition setups, one for show and one for go. The show setup is all stock except the distributor. It is correct appearing but not the correct Hemi Numbers. The go setup is a MSD pro billet distributor, ACCEL plug wires, and a MSD igition box. The MSD box it hidden by a fabricated mount on the underside of the battery trey. All brake lines, gas lines, and transmission lines are new. The complete front suspensions has also been rebuilt. In the pictures there is no heater choke tube shown. Since, a new one has been added along with the correct Fram airfilter.

Interior

This interior is mint and a very nice due to the fact that the panels and flawless, uncracked dash pad are all original to the car. The seats have been recovered along with new carpeting and a new headliner to make this interior mint. This interior is very eye catching with the door panels without the woodgrain inserts and the Jerome Verbit restored rimblow steering wheel. There is a small break in the drivers door panel on the bottom (see picture) it has been repaired and is only noticeable when the door is open. When at shows this is not noticed. Also when the interior pictures where taken, there was no handle on the break release, it has been replaced with a new one now.

Body

Paying extra for the high impact EK2 Go Mango paint was an excellent choice. It a show stopper with its color combination of the full body in EK2, a white side R/T longitude stripe, and a black interior. This shape of this car is amazing. Its gaps are perfect, the paint excellent and this is truely as good as it gets. The doors and trunk lid close with easy and don’t sag like some do. All the stainless trim has been polished and restored to show quality. The glass is all original correct TINT glass. The wheels are original 15" Ralley wheels but have the incorrect 71 trim rings. The 71 Rings are original parts. Current BId: $131,100.00
